Louise Ringshaw – Principal

A qualified teacher of dance for the Association of American Dancing. Louise passionate about dance in general, but have a particular interest in Ballet, Tap, Modern as my core subjects, also has a RSL level 4 Diploma in teaching Street (through Urban Strides)

Louise believes that dance truly helps the young ones learn and grow into amazing young people, having seen over the years a number of students go through this process it’s amazing to see the result of who and what they learn in taking dance classes at Chameleon Theatre Arts.

Claire West

Claire West

Teacher of Chameleon Theatre Arts since 2007. An original student of the Jackie Cox Theatre Arts School and trained with Louise Steers, then returned to complete her teaching exams with the Association of American dancing when Louise took over the school in 2005. Claire teaches Primary and Junior, Adult students in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre and Adults.

Emma Tiffin

Emma Tiffin

Emma’s love of dance began at the age of 2 years and became a part of the chameleon teaching family in 2018.
Emma was an original student of the Jackie Cox Theatre Dance school, during which time she completed her ballet, tap and modern examinations for the AAD. Throughout these early years she participated in shows across the uk including the London Palladium, Sadlers Wells London, Blackpool Opera house and across waters in Disneyland Paris. Emma also competed regularly at the AAD scholarships in Buxton. After finishing school, Emma joined Masters Performing Arts College as a student in 2003 for her first year diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre. After completing her first year she then went on to audition for a place at the Performers Dance & Theatre College for her final two years. Emma trained in I.S.T.D Ballet & Tap throughout the 3 year programme and gained extensive knowledge in the dance industry whilst participating in dance events across London.
Emma went on to graduate in 2006 with a BA(Hons) Musical Theatre and (Dance). After graduating she then went on to dance in Düsseldorf, Germany for the Spirit of Broadway production company.

Leanne Jackson

Leanne Jackson

Teacher with Chameleon Theatre Arts since 2012 and had her first teaching experience as a student helper during her time as a pupil of the school (of which she has been a student since she was 3 years of age) and then on her ‘Trident’ work experience at the age of 15 in 2006. Leanne teaches, Junior, Intermediate and Senior students in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street Dance and Musical Theatre.

Bianca Bennett

Bianca Bennett

A trainee teacher and student of chameleon theatre arts since 1997. Bianca has completed her one year business administration apprenticeship with chameleon theatre arts at the end of 2015. Bianca is training towards completing her AAD teaching qualifications in ballet, tap and modern and is currently teaching primary students classes. With a good knowledge of the background of the school and it’s teaching standards, Bianca is a valued student teacher of the school.

Elicia-Rose Ringshaw

Elicia-Rose Ringshaw

Has been dancing since 2003, aged 2 and has completed most of her exams in Ballet, Tap and Modern (now Intermediate Ballet/Tap Grades). Elicia has developed her passion for Street dance through Urban Strides as a part of Urban Strides Senior Crew, since joining the crew in 2015 she has now performed infant of over 500,000 people on 2 UK arena tours, Birmingham Resorts world Arena, Sheffield Fly DSA arena, Manchester Arena and London O2 Arena. Elicia is now teaching her own street dance classes, the Elite troupes and Intermediate classes; bringing young and fresh ideas to the school. Elicia also has a part time role as an admin assistant on reception in the Chameleon studio.

Kate Holcombe

Kate Holcombe

Born in South Africa, Kate’s passion for dancing started at age six. She went on to attain her ballet certificates from The Royal Academy of Dance, and completed her tap/modern dance exams from the Association of International Dance. Kate started her professional dance career with Guild Theatre Dance Company as a full time member when she was 18. She performed classical, contemporary, jazz, tap and American dance all over the Eastern Cape of South Africa. She joined Chameleon Theatre Arts shortly after arriving in the UK in 2006 and has been teaching with us since 2018.

Student with Chameleon since 2008, Primary and Junior helper who hopes to complete her teaching exams and continue teaching within the school when she leaves school. Part of the selected Chameleon Elite Troupe.

Natasha Hildrew

Natasha Hildrew

Has a flare for Musical Theatre and has been dancing with the school since the age of 5. Winner of the Bernard Ringshaw Award 2013, best overall dancer. She has worked as an actor for several seasons with Nevendon Manor Events. Natasha is a Primary class helper.

Jayne Mason

Jayne Mason

Miss Jayne has danced since she was 3 years old and has trained in ballet, tap, modern, disco, ballroom and latin American. She is a qualified student teacher with the Association of American Dance having trained with Miss Louise and Miss Claire, and has fond memories of teaching Miss Leanne and Miss Emma as children themselves. Miss Jayne has been lucky enough to dance and compete in London theatres as well as venues across England and internationally as a professional dancer. She has danced at Chameleon Theatre Arts for many years and is excited to have recently returned to teaching where she hopes to encourage others to improve technical abilities and develop performance skills.

Madison Ringshaw-Steers

Has been dancing since 2005, aged 2 and is particularly enthusiastic about Musical Theatre which she excels at. Madison is a caring child and has her challenges as a child with Dyspraxia, which has made her more understanding of children with similar issues that she helps in Junior classes.

Courtney Drew

Courtney Drew

Has been dancing with the school since the age of 6. Winner of the Angel Hardman Award 2016 for the most improved dancer! Courtney is a Primary helper.

Holly Billton

Has been dancing with the school since the age of 2 and also is a lover of Musical Theatre. Holly is part of the Chameleon Elite Troupe and is a Primary helper.
